We hosted 200 people who enjoyed next-level food, a beautiful atmosphere, a rocking DJ and most importantly an opportunity to give back. Through the hard work and dedication of the committee, as well as additional volunteers and donors, more than 130 silent auction items were collected and packaged from all 10 offices.

2018 Night in the Wild
September 2018
The 9th Annual Night in the Wild was held at the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium’s Africa Event Center Friday, September 14. It is with tremendous gratitude that we thank the sponsors, donors, attendees, bidders and committee members that made it a success!

With 320 tickets sold, 19 sponsors, 190 silent and 8 live auction items, together we raised over $66,000. Our net proceeds were almost $35,000! In addition to the money raised at Night in the Wild, we’ve collected over $5000 from the generous donations to High Five for the Foundation. The Foundation Board has determined that each office will receive $4000 to be distributed to their charity/charities at the Award Celebrations in February 2019.

We also appreciate those that completed the survey as that is the best way for us to continue to improve the event and the experience for you and your guests. Here is what we learned:

85% would recommend Night in the Wild to their friends and family. We received wonderful comments like “Amazing evening…will be back next year for sure.” “Lovely event – one of the best to date!” While most respondents heard about the event through sales meetings & committee members, some mentioned hearing about the event from “their Realtor” which means that you are inviting friends, family and vendors. “This is our second year and we love it!! Looking forward to next year!!”

80% prefer the mobile bidding that we used this year and 96% were neutral, satisfied or very satisfied with the checkout process which was something we really wanted to improve upon from last year. Reviews of the venue were mixed – “Beautiful venue” and “Love having it there!” to “Bored with venue” and “They need to leave the giraffes out a bit longer”

All of your feedback will be taken into consideration as we begin to plan for next year, the 10th Annual Night in the Wild. Stay tuned for updates!
